Mumbai, March 30: Mahendra Singh Dhoni was almost reduced to tears, in a recent press conference for his Indian Premier League (IPL) team Chennai Super Kings (CSK). One of the most successful captains in Indian cricket history, MS Dhoni is known for his calm and composure on and off the field. Dhoni’s emotional-less expressions during the course of the match have often baffled players and people worldwide.
In a viral video that has surfaced online, MS Dhoni is seen reduced to tears addressing a press conference. Unable to speak and almost teary-eyed, Dhoni was talking about the team’s journey in the IPL. His teammate Suresh Raina ran up on the stage to offer his captain a bottle of water and shared a smile, to lighten the emotional moment.

Chennai Super Kings have had a tumultuous journey in the IPL tournament since its inception. Dhoni has led the team in all its seasons before the team was banned to participate for two seasons (2016 & 2017).
