Former Indian cricketer Virender Sehwag, who is known for his wit, chose to keep his Diwali 2018 wish simple. Sehwag tweeted: “May you leave a little sparkle wherever you go. Apart from him, discarded middle-order batsman Yuvraj Singh posted a video on Twitter. Yuvraj, who is a cancer survivor, appealed people to help the needy. “This Diwali make a promise to help better someone’s life. You are lucky to celebrate with the ones you love,” Yuvraj said in the video. The World Cup winner captioned the video as “Wishing everyone a very #HappyDiwali filled with hope, joy, peace & love. The Indian on the eve of Diwali had a gift for the country. The home side defeated Windies in the second T20 International to secure the series win. Guided by stand-in captain’s impressive knock of unbeaten 111, India posted 195 for two in their allotted 20 overs.
