Indian cricketer and wicket-keeper batsman Dinesh Karthik celebrates his 34th birthday today, on Saturday. Karthik was born on June 1, 1984. The wicket-keeper batsman made his debut for Team India in 2004 against England. The Indian cricket team, which is in England for the ICC Cricket World Cup 2019, celebrated Karthik's birthday and cut a cake for the experienced campaigner. In a video shared by the Indian Cricket Team's Instagram page, Dinesh Karthik is seen cutting his birthday cake. But that was not all. A lot of fun and a little celebration in trademark DK style was the highlight of the cake cutting. Dinesh Karthik's full name is Krishna Kumar Dinesh Karthik. Karthik represents the state of Tamil Nadu in first-class cricket. Karthik made his international debut for India in 2004 against England. Karthik was part of the Indian Cricket team in ICC Cricket World Cup 2007. However, team India failed to make a mark and was ousted from the tournament in the group stage itself. Karthik's moment under the sun came when he lead India to victory in the Nidahas Trophy final match against Bangladesh in 2018. The right handed batsman, hit a six off the last ball to guide India to a famous victory. Karthik is also the captain of Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) in the Indian Premier League (IPL 2019).
