Ajinkya Rahane, who played a stellar of an innings to guide India C to victory in the Deodhar Trophy 2018, found himself in an amusing situation after he celebrated his hundred rather prematurely. It was only after Suresh Raina signalled from the pavilion that Rahane realised he was on 97 and still needed three runs to complete his century.

Ajinkya Rahane's batting partner at the time was Shubman Gill, who also congratulated Rahane. Even the scoreboard indicated 100 against Rahane's name. But Raina indicated from the stands that Rahane was still three runs away from the milestone.
