Last Sunday Pakistan lost to India for the seventh time in the World Cup. The two teams met at The Old Trafford in Manchester and the Men in Blue had the last laugh as they defeated Pakistan by 89 runs in the CWC 2019 tie. During the match, Pakistani skipper Sarfaraz Ahmed was caught yawning on the camera. This had already frustrated the fans and the comprehensive defeat added insult to the injury. Pakistan’s loss continues to haunt the team. Former Pakistani pacer Shoaib Akhtar even labelled Ahmed as a brainless captain. "Like Virat Kohli sent Pakistan to bat on a good batting surface in Champions Trophy, Sarfaraz made the same mistake today. How can someone be so brainless as a captain?" Apparently, the Pakistani skipper has also issued to his teammates that even they would be facing the music back home after their defeat against India.
