Mumbai, May 09: The 42nd match of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2018 will see Delhi Daredevils play against SunRisers Hyderabad in a do-or-die match for them. The Kane Williamson-led team has almost entered the Playoffs this season; however, a win tonight will confirm their spot. The two-month-long tournament is almost nearing its end and to see teams fighting for their spot in the Playoffs is simply exciting. Will Delhi Daredevils be able to take revenge of their previous beating from SunRisers Hyderabad, tonight?
When Delhi Daredevils and SunRisers Hyderabad clashed against each other previously, on May 5, it was the Orange Army who came out on the top as the night ended. The SRH had almost dug itself in a hole in the business-end of the match; however, a heroic effort from Yusuf Pathan saw them home.
To select a perfect team combination for Delhi Daredevils has been a task for them this season. With Gautam Gambhir out of the line-up for a long time, the young talents in the team have stepped up. However, their foreign signings – Jason Roy, Glenn Maxwell, and Colin Munro – have been a big let-down.
For SunRisers Hyderabad, they would be itching to test their bench strength against a comparatively weaker DD side. However, the SRH team wouldn’t consider any changes in their preferred (first-choice) Playing XI.
