Marcus Stoinis was the star of the match for Delhi. Promoted as an opening batsman, Stoinis scored 38 off just 27 deliveries with the help of five boundaries and a maximum. Delhi will play Mumbai Indians in the final. This will be the first time Delhi have advanced to the IPL final in 12 seasons. This time though they will be making their maiden final appearance.
