DC Win: Delhi Capitals eventually held on to beat Sunrisers Hyderabad by 17 runs to reach their maiden IPL final. SRH looked like they could chase it down with Kane Williamson and Abdul Samad at the crease but Marcus Stoinis struck and removed Williamson before Kagiso Rabada took three wickets in 1 over to turn the game in favour of DC.

OUT! Abdul Samad and Rashid Khan are out off successive deliveries from Kagiso Rabada and Delhi Capitals are back in the hunt. Rabada was smashed for a six in his second delivery. But has come back with consecutive wickets. Samad is out for a 16-ball 33 while Rashid Khan goes back for a 7-ball 11 runs.

OUT! Marcus Stoinis has struck again for Delhi Capitals. Kane Williamson has to go back after another fine knock but Delhi are certainly on top now. Williamson was the dangerman for SRH and he has been dismissed. A widish full delivery from Stoinis and Williamson looked to play it over the covers but found Kagiso Rabada. Williamson c Rabada b Stoinis 67(45)

OUT! Jason Holder is dismissed by Axar Patel and SRH have lost their fifth wicket. Holder was off strike for quite some time now and looked to go over deep mid-wicket but finds Praveen Dubey.  Holder c Praveen Dubey b Axar 11(15)

Kane Williamson and Jason Holder have kept Sunrisers Hyderabad in the hunt after the loss of three early wickets. The pair have added 31 runs in 5 overs but the run rate have mounted up for Hyderabad and they need one of these two players to play the big shots. The spinners have continued for DC and have kept the runs in check.

OUT! Kagiso Rabada strikes with his first ball and gets the big wicket of David Warner. This was a full inswing yorker from Rabada outside the leg-stump and it completely bamboozled warner who missed the length and saw his stumps shattered. Warner b Rabada 2(3)

Delhi Capitals have posted 189/3 in 20 overs after captain Shreyas Iyer elected to bat first. Shikhar Dhawan was the top scorer for Delhi with 78 runs from 50 deliveries which comprised of six boundaries and two maximums. Dhawan's opening partnership of 86 runs with Marcus Stoinis (38) set the tone for Delhi. Shimron Hetmyer then gave them a late flourish with 42 from 22 balls. Rashid Khan, Sandeep Sharma and Jason Holder picked a wicket each for Hyderabad.

Wicket: Shikhar Dhawan goes back after a fine knock. Dhawan departs for 78 off 50 deliveries. He was hit on the pads by Sandeep Sharma while attempting a standing reverse-sweep and Dhawan went back although replays showed he could have reviewed the decision and overturned it as the ball was outside the leg stump. Dhawan lbw b Sandeep Sharma 78(50)
