Gautam Gambhir remained not out on 71 to help KKR defeat a team he would join next season and eventually end his IPL career. Earlier Nathan Coulter-Nile’s three wickets were integral in the home side restricting their opposition to 160.
DD vs KKR - April 17, 2017 – Feroz Shah Kotla, Delhi – KKR won by 4 wickets
Similar kind of game as the last one but it was the turn of Manish Pandey and Yusuf Pathan to be the heroes for visiting Kolkata. Manish Pandey remained not out on 69 runs to see off the Delhi challenge.
DD vs KKR – April 30, 2016 – Feroz Shah Kotla, Delhi – DD won by 27 runs
Indian pace spearhead Zaheer Khan snapped three wickets to lead his team to a comfortable 27 runs win over Kolkata Knight Riders. Earlier Karun Nair had helped the home team reach 186/8 after an early batting collapse. The Delhi bowlers especially their pace battery kept the pressure on the opposition picking up wickets at regular intervals.
The Delhi Capitals need to have a strategy in place to counter the in-form players like Andre Russell and Nitish Rana of the Kolkata Knight Riders. If they can stop them, they will give themselves a real chance to claim the two points.
