David Warner was on cloud nine after scoring his third consecutive century in the World Cup 2019. He scored 107 runs in a game which was won by the Australian team by 41 runs at the Taunton Cricket Stadium. David Warner obviously walked away with the Man of the Match Award for his innings.  Unlike a few days ago, David Warner was not hooted, instead, he received a very good reception by the crowd.  He took to social media and expressed his happiness about the same. There have been numerous occasions where Steve Smith and David Warner had been hooted with the jibes and chants of, “Cheater cheater.” But that did not happen this time.  AUS beat PAK by 41 runs.

After winning the toss, Pakistan elected to bowl first. Aaron Finch and David Warner gave a watchful start to the team at the start of the game 146 long run partnership. On one hand, where David Warner scored a century, Aaron Finch missed out on a hundred as made way to the pavilion after scoring 82 runs. He also went on to take a few selfies with the fans at the stadium.

Warner even gifted his Man of the Match award to a young fan. Needless to say that the fan was seen smiling ear-to-ear. While speaking about boos, Warner said that he is unaffected with the same. “We don't really hear that when we're out there. We're out there to do a job, which for me is to try to score runs and have a lot of energy in the field. I've had it my whole career. It eggs us on a lot to try to score more runs,” he said.
