David Warner has once again found himself in the middle of a controversy. The left-handed batsman after being dismissed in the ongoing third Test between South Africa and Australia was seen exchanging few words with one of the spectators. Warner was on his way back to the hutch when a man near the staircase said something to him. The batsman instead of ignoring him turned back and decided to take on the spectator. However, after security incharge's intervention, Warner headed back to the pavilion. Reportedly, the spectator ‘greeted’ Warner with “goodbye sweetheart.”

During the opening Test in Durban, Warner was involved in a heated argument with South African wicket-keeper batsman Quinton de Kock when both the teams were heading back towards respective dressing rooms. The incident was captured on CCTV and the video went viral.

Meanwhile, in reply to South Africa’s 311, Australia in their first innings had lost eight wickets with just 188 runs on board at the time of writing this story. Warner started on an aggressive note smashing five fours and a six early on in his innings.

However, his attacking innings was cut short by pacer Kagiso Rabada. Warner managed to score 30 off just 14 balls before he was bowled. Australia then kept losing wickets at regular intervals, with Rabada and Morkel picking three wickets each. Vernon Philander also snapped couple wickets.

The four-match Test series is currently levelled at one each. Australia won the first Test by 118 runs. The home side then bounced back to win the second Test at Port Elizabeth by six wickets.
