A teary eyed David Warner said that, "Right now, it is hard to know what comes next, but first and foremost, is the well being of my family." There were reports that David Warner may announce his retirement from international cricket in the press conference, though he did not do that, he did say that he understands he may not get a chance to represent his country again. "In the back of my mind, I suppose there is a tiny ray of hope that I may one day given the privilege of playing for my country again but I am resigned to the fact that that may never happen again."
