David Warner Becomes Stuart's Bunny: ICC Leads the Troll Pack As Broad Gets Australian Opener For Fifth Time in Ashes 2019

Cricket Australia had tweeted "David Warner resumes his battle with Stuart Broad," just before both teams stepped into the ground to start the Australian innings after skipper Tim Paine had won the toss and elected to bat first. But they were soon forced to eat their own words after Warner lasted only two deliveries.

David Warner's disastrous form in Ashes 2019 extended to another innings after the Australian opening-batsman was dismissed for a two-ball duck by Stuart Broad. Warner’s dismissal to Broad in only the fourth delivery of the Manchester Test made it five times in seven innings of this series that England bowler Broad has removed the left-hander. Warner, 32, lasted only two balls before nicking an outside the off-stump delivery to wicket-keeper Jonny Bairstow and giving trolls another opportunity to ridicule him.  Australia Vs England Live Cricket Score 4th Test Match.

Warner is now also first Australian top-order batsman, since Kim Hughes in 1984, to be out on single digits for six times in a series. Warner now has consecutive ducks in Ashes 2019 following another dismissal on nought in the fourth Ashes 2019 Test at Old Trafford in Manchester. His scores in Ashes 2019 series now reads 2,8,2,5,61,0 and 0 in the seven innings he has played so far with just one half-century. David Warner Gets Booed After his Dismissal, Fans Show Sandpaper to the Australian Opener During the 1st Ashes 2019 Test (Watch Video).
