You might have already heard of reverse-sweep and switch-hit in the game of cricket. However, David Warner, on January 16, went a step ahead when the left-handed batsman changed into a right-handed batsman during the Sylhet Sixers vs Rangpur Riders, Bangladesh Premier League (BPL) Season 6, match on Wednesday. Well, it is unbelievably true!

The incident happened in the 19th over of the match, which was bowled by Chris Gayle. After being able to score only two runs on the first three balls of the over, David Warner decided to change his stance and took the guard as the right-handed batsman. The next three shots were dispatched with disdain to the boundary ropes: 6, 4, and 4.

Playing for Sylhet Sixers, David Warner came to the crease in the 9th over, when the team had just lost Sabbir Rahman. Warner played aggressively and ended even in a fiercer manner. Warner remained unbeaten on 61 runs, for which he only needed 36 balls. The left-handed and the right-handed batsman, both Warner, hit 6 fours and 2 sixes in his innings. It will be a night to remember for the fans to see David Warner changing his stance altogether and not just switching his position while playing a shot.
