Another chapter was added onto the Danish Kaneria discrimination saga when the former Pakistani leg-spinner took to his Youtube channel and made many huge revelations. Kaneria bashed his critics who claimed that the spinner is using the controversy to get into the limelight. He reminded everyone that is was not him but Shoaib Akhtar who revealed how Kaneria was mistreated by his former teammates because of being a Hindu. The 39-year old also claimed that he never let any of the mishappenings to affect his game as he was giving his 100 percent on the field. Former Pakistan captain Javed Miandad, recently, claimed that Kaneria wouldn’t have played cricket for 10 years if there would have been a religion-discrimination issue and he is doing all the drama just for money. The leg-spinner, however, didn’t take Miandad’s name in the video but took an indirect dig at him by saying “People are saying I played for Pakistan for 10 years. Kaneria, who faced a lifetime ban in 2013, further expressed is agony and revealed how the Pakistani cricket fraternity and even TV channels mistreated him after his retirement from the game. He also slammed the people who are saying that Kaneria is using Akhtar’s claim for making his Youtube channel hit. “You have cut off my hands and feet. I have not been employed for so long. What else do you want? Should I finish myself off?” said the former spinner.
The tale started when former Shoaib Akhtar claimed in a Pakistan- based cricket show that Kaneria was mistreated by many of his former teammates being of following his faith and later Kaneria himself confirmed the claims and also said that he’ll reveal the names too.
