Former Pakistani leg-spinner Danish Kaneria has supported the allegations made by Shoaib Akhtar and accepted that he was mistreated by many of his former teammates because of being a Hindu and has also said that he will reveal the names of those cricketers who misbehaved with him. Earlier, Akhtar revealed that Kaneria faced a lot of humiliation for following his fate and the discrimination used to irk the former. Now, Kaneria has also supported the claims of his teammate and said that many of his teammates were had problems in having food with him and even many of the cricketers also didn’t like to talk to him. Shoaib Akhtar Accuses Former Pakistani Teammates of Mistreating Spinner Danish Kaneria for Being Hindu.

According to ANI, Kaneria has underpinned the statements of Akhtar and also said that he will reveal the names of the culprits soon. “I'll reveal the names of players who didn't like to talk to me as I was a Hindu. Didn't have the courage to speak on it, but now I will” said the former spinner as quoted by ANI.

On a cricket show in Pakistan, Akhtar spilt the beans on his former teammates’ behaviour towards the spinner. He also said that Kaneria never got the due credit of his match-defining performances but instead faced humiliation for following his faith.

A veteran of 261 Test wickets, Kaneria is the only Hindu cricketer to have played for Pakistan in the last decade. He was found guilty of getting involved in a spot-fixing scandal and was subsequently faced a life ban in 2012. Since then, there wasn’t much talking about him. However, Akhtar’s sensational revelation again brought the spinner in limelight.

Well, Kaneria has claimed that he will certainly reveal the names who misbehaved with him in his playing days and very soon he will reveal the names too. So, this saga will certainly have another chapter and it will be interesting to see which cricketers will be included in his revelation.
