The Faf du Plessis led side who have been already knocked out of the ICC Cricket World Cup 2019, finally produced an eye-catching bowling performance where all the bowlers chipped in with one wicket each. But the most talked moment from Sri Lanka’s innings happened to be a short cameo from a swarm of bees and their performance. Sri Lanka vs South Africa Live Cricket Score of ICC World Cup 2019 Match.
Shocked? Well, don’t be. Both South Africa and Sri Lanka are not new to bee attacks during their matches. In the past also there was a bee attack on the ground when South Africa and Sri Lanka were involved in an intense ODI encounter.

This incident occurred in the 48th over of the Sri Lankan innings. The Lankans were already down to eight wickets and were struggling to put up a respectable total on board. Chris Morris was bowling the 48th over when in the fifth delivery of the over, a swarm of bees haunted the ground leaving both sets of players, as well as, the umpires on the ground. Everyone was forced to lie down on the ground until the bees left after a short cameo appearance.

Dwaine Pretorius picked three wickets and gave away just 25 runs from his 10 overs as South Africa bundled Sri Lanka for just 203 runs. Chris Morris also chipped in with a three-wicket haul, while Kagiso Rabada took two and JP Duminy and Andile Phehlukwayo finished with one-wicket each.
