Google has made a special Doodle for the Cricket World Cup. In the animation, one can see bowler delivering a ball and batsman hitting before it is caught by a fielder. The Google Doodle for 2019 Cricket World Cup has a reach in countries like India, Pakistan, hosts United Kingdom, Iceland, South Africa, Australia, and New Zealand. The 48-match long tournament begins with home side England taking on South Africa in the first match at The Oval in London.

The 2019 Cricket World Cup will be played in a round-robin format with teams facing each other once. Home side England and India have been rated as the favourites to lift the ICC Cricket World Cup 2019. Both the teams are balanced and have been playing some quality cricket of late. The 2019 CWC is the 12th edition of the tournament. Australia have won five titles, the most, followed by two each by West Indies and India. Pakistan and Sri Lanka have won one title each. England, New Zealand and South Africa are yet to win the ICC CWC.
