Cricket was at it's best this past week, as we saw Indian pacer Jasprit Bumrah take hat-trick against West Indies during the 2nd Test Match which is being played at Sabina Park, Kingston, Jamaica. Apart from that we saw India Test team batsman Hanuma Vihari score 111 runs which gave India a strong base in the 2nd Test Match against West Indies. Last week we also some action from limited over, where Sri Lanka vs New Zealand 1st T20I match took place, where Ross Taylor played a match winning knock of 48 runs from 29 balls, as Kiwi won the match by 5 wickets. India is all set to win the 2nd Test Match against West Indies at Jamaica and seal the series by 2-0. This will help India to retain top position in ICC World Test Championship 2019.  India has given West Indies a target of 468 runs and at stumps on Day 3 on Sep 1, 2019 West Indies has already lost 2 wickets at the score of 45 runs in their chase. Now speaking about T20I Cricket, home team Sri Lanka faced New Zealand where they lost by 5 wickets after putting up a target of 175 runs on board. Jasprit Bumrah Hat-Trick

The right-arm fast Indian bowler Jasprit Bumrah took 6 wicket haul on Day 2 of India vs West Indies 2nd Test at Jamaica. He took a hat-trick to join names with Irfan Pathan and Harbhajan Singh, as Bumrah becomes the 3rd Indian bowler to achieve this feat in Test. Bumrah credited his hat-trick to skipper Virat Kohli, as he was not going for a leg-before review against Roston Chase which was given not out by on-field umpire Paul Reiffel. Kohli challenged the umpire call and it was discovered through TV replay that ball was hitting the leg-stump. This was Bumrah's 3rd dismissal as prior to that in consecutive two deliveries he dismissed Darren Bravo and Shamarh Brooks. Bumrah spell rattled up West Indies batting line up on Day 2 at 87/7 which thet eventually ended up with meagre 117 runs.

Hanuma Vihari Knock of 111 Runs 

It was Hanuma Vihari's century that set the base for Indian team in the 2nd Test Match against West Indies. Vihari missed out on his 100 in the last match as he got dismissed on 93. Hanuma Vihari 111 runs knock along with Virat Kohli 76 runs help India make 416 runs in 1st inning.

Ross Taylor Match-Winning Knock of 48 Runs From 29 Balls 

Kiwis kicked off the 3 matches T20I series with a win as Ross Taylor played a calm and composed inning of 48 runs from 29 balls to chase down the target of 175 runs. Taylor was well supported by Colin de Grandhomme who made 44 runs from 28 balls. These two batsmen ensured that New Zealand were alawys on par with the required run rate and in the end New Zealand team crossed the line easily.

So, these were some of the brilliant performances from cricket this past week. We can expect some more this week as New Zealand will play two more T20Is against Sri Lanka this week. Also, cricket fans around the world will be eagerly wating for Ashes 2019 4th Test between England and Australia which will start from Sep 4, 2019 as the action will take place at Old Trafford Cricket Ground.
