South African Chris Morris who represents Sydney Thunder was seen making fake mankading attempt to Marcus Stoinis who was at the non-striker’s end in the 17th match of the game. Morris was seen running into the fourth ball and the ball slipped from his end before he was seen entering the bowling stride. Morris then went on to stumps and tried hitting them. However, post this act he lost the ball. The bowler seemed to have had a laugh at the act. The video was shared on the official account of Big Bash Premier League account.
The Melbourne Stars have won four matches out of five appearances with eight points in the Big Bash League 2019-20. The team had lost one game only. Sydney Sixers stand on number two of the points table with eight points losing two games out of six. The remaining games were won by Sydney Sixers. Adelaide Strikers is on number three with seven points as they won three games and lost one. Sydney Thunder are on number four with seven points.
