On the Day 1 of the Sydney Test between India and Australia, Cheteshwar Pujara reminded everyone of Rahul Dravid as he provided much-needed support to the shaky Indian side. The visitors had lost KL Rahul who got out on the score of 9 runs. Pujara and Mayank Agarwal handled the Indian innings. However, Agarwal walked back he scored 77 runs, but Pujara continued to display nerves of steel and brought up his 18th hundred. Nathan Lyon smilingly walked up to Cheteshwar Pujara and asked him, “Aren’t You Bored Yet?” The batsman did not respond but continued batting. This was Pujara’s third hundred in the series and the right-hander has now joined the elite league of batsmen which has players like Rahul Dravid, Virat Kohli and Sunil Gavaskar for scoring at least three centuries in way matches. He has become the sixth Indian batsman to achieve this feat During the course of his knock in Sydney, Pujara also became the fifth Indian batsman after Rahul Dravid (1203 in 2003/04), Vijay Hazare (1192 in 1947/48), Virat Kohli (1093 in 2014/15) and Sunil Gavaskar (1032 in 1977/98) to face more than 1000 balls in a Test series in Australia. As of now India is on the score of 303 runs for the loss of four wickets.
