India carried on with their unbeaten run in the CWC 2019 as they went on to beat West Indies in the 35th game of the tournament at the Old Trafford Cricket Ground in Manchester. With this, the team qualified for the semi-finals of CWC 2019 as they won the match against the Caribbean team by 125 runs. With the win, Virat Kohli's IPL franchise Royal Challengers Bangalore tweeted about the victory of the Men in Blue. Rest of the six teams also chipped in with their respective takes on the victory and cheered for the team to lift the CWC 2019. Only Delhi Capitals did not respond. This did not go unnoticed by CSK and the official handled trolled DC brutally on social media for staying on the sidelines. IND beat WI by 125 runs.

Talking about the match, India had posted a total of 268 runs as they chose to bat after winning the toss. The West Indies team in reply got bundled out on 143 runs. All thanks to an amazing performance from pacer Mohammad Shami who snapped four wickets giving away 16 runs. India will next take on England on June 30, 2019, at the Edgbaston Cricket Ground in Birmingham.
