The year 2018 has been quite a crucial time for the budding cricketer Arjun Tendulkar. Things just seem to have fallen in place for Tendulkar junior. The budding cricketer with a series of good performances makes us wonder if he can rewrite the legacy of his father and Sachin Tendulkar? This year for Arjun started off with an all-around performance against Australia as he represented Cricketer's Club of India at the tournament. The Mumbai lad was blazing guns with 48 runs off 27 deliveries. He also snapped four wickets and impressed everyone.

It was in July 2018, that the youngster made an international debut for the India under-19 team that travelled to Sri Lanka. In the very first match, Tendulkar junior got one wicket. Post this, Tendulkar junior was also included in the prestigious U-19 Mumbai invitational tournament which was held on 31st August and September 1st.  He could not get wickets in the two-day game but chipped in with 24 runs and the match against Punjab ended up with a draw.

However, his performances in the Vinoo Mankad Trophy 2018 was quite commendable for Mumbai. The tournament began on October 2. 2018. Arjun Tendulkar registered the figures of 5/30 in the second round of the tournament. He removed got the wickets of Vardhman Dattesh Shah (0), Priyesh (1), LM Kocher (8), Jaymeet Patel (26) and Dhruvang Patel (6).

His dream run continued when he snapped three wickets against Assam at the Vinoo Mankad Trophy 2018. He gave away only 14 runs in eight overs and gave an early breakthrough to Mumbai by getting one wicket early in the innings. With these performances, it would be interesting to see if the younsgetr follows his father’s footsteps.
