Rain Stays Away in Bridgetown, Barbados As India Clinch the ICC T20 World Cup 2024 Title After Beating South Africa By 7 Runs in Final

India finally win a ICC title as they lift the T20 World Cup 2024 courtesy to some fantastic bowling from Jasprit Bumrah and Hardik Pandya in the end. The match was threatened by rain by it stayed away to give fans a nail-biting thriller worthy of a final. South Africa were very close to the finishing line but this time too, they fail to touch it. This is the first ICC title for India in last eleven years. 

Just as the game was taking an exciting turn in the ICC T20 World Cup 2024 final, former South African cricketer Dale Steyn revealed that black clouds are hovering around the stadium from every direction and that rain is going to arrive very soon. 

Rain has not interrupted the ICC T20 World Cup 2024 final as of now and the start time has been as per scheduled. Toss took place a few minutes ago and India captain opted to bat first winning the toss. No changes in both the playing XIs. Hopefully fans will witness and uninterrupted game. 

With there being no rain around, the toss is set to take place on time, which is 7:30 pm IST (Indian Standard Time). The match will start on the scheduled time of 8:00 pm IST (Indian Standard Time). 

There has been no rain so far before the match and the fans have started to gather outside the Kensington Oval in Bridgetown to watch the highly-anticipated India vs South Africa match. Fans would want this weather to remain throughout the match.

The Kensington Oval is covered in bright sunshine as the ground prepares to host the India vs South Africa T20 World Cup 2024 final. There was rain earlier on at night but so far, it seems that no downpour is around the corner looking at the sky. There is a forecast for rain though.
