The BPL 2019 witnessed a couple of interesting games yesterday. Comilla Victorians beat Chittagong Vikings by seven wickets by DLS method. After winning the toss, Chittagong Vikings opted to bat and posted a total of 116 runs. Tamim Iqbal and Shamsur Rahman were the ones who played a vital role for the Comilla Victorians as they score 54 and 36 runs respectively. Shahid Afridi went on to be the Man of the Match for snapping a couple of wickets. In the second game, Rajshahi Kings won the toss and elected to bat first and it was Laurie Evans from the team who made the highest score of 35 runs from 31 deliveries. The team set a target of 141 runs for the Rangpur Riders. Batting second the RR achieved the target in 18.4 overs itself. Rilee Rossouw scored 55 runs whereas AB de Villiers made 37 runs and both had a lion’s share of a contribution in the team’s success.
