T20 format of cricket has witnessed some best catches. With almost no room for error, fielders give their absolute best and are always on their toes. England’s Jason Roy, playing for Sylhet Sixers in the Bangladesh Premier League 2019, took a superb one-handed catch near the boundary against Chittagong Vikings. The ball at first seemed to be going over the ropes for a six but Roy plucked the ball out of thin air arguably completing the best catch of the tournament. BPL 2019 Points Table: Updated Team Standings and Match Results of Bangladesh Premier League T20 Season 6.

The wicket certainly belongs to the fielder as Alok Kapali, the bowler, bowled a loose half-tracker. Yasir Ali, who was batting on 27, smashed hard at it but failed to go past flying Roy who completed the catch with his left hand, not his natural hand.

Roy’s effort proved to be an important one as Sylhet Sixers defended a total of 165. Chittagong Vikings were bundled out for 136 in 18.3 overs. Roy, who managed to score just 11 runs with the bat, made up with his superb fielding.

It was the last match of the season for Sylhet Sixers as they failed to qualify for the playoffs. However, the Sixers managed to end their BPL 2019 season on a high. Chittagong Vikings, on the other hand, qualified for the playoffs after securing 14 points from 12 matches and finished third on the BPL 2019 points table. BPL 2019: Alex Hales Ruled Out of the Tournament Due to Shoulder Injury; Massive Blow for Rangpur Riders.
