Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) posted a video featuring Bhuvneshwar Kumar on its official Twitter account, on Monday. The injured fast bowler was seen practising (bowling) hard in the nets session ahead of India vs England 3rd One Day International (ODI) match at Leeds, to be played on July 17. The Indian pacer was not a part of the Indian team in their previous two outings too!
Hinting a return, of Bhuvneshwar Kumar, to the first-choice playing eleven in the series decider, the BCCI, on its Twitter account posted a message, ‘Look who’s having a go at the nets.’ However, the fans were quick to notice that Bhuvneshwar was overstepping while delivering the ball.

Following the tweet, the incident went viral in no time. The fans were quick to point out the mistake and started trolling both, the BCCI and Bhuvenshwar Kumar in their replies.
India won the first ODI match by ten wickets, courtesy Rohit Sharma’s blazing hundred, and spirited bowling performance from Kuldeep Yadav. However, the English team outplayed their Indian counterparts in the second ODI match, in another one-sided affair and drew series level at 1-1.
The Indian bowling unit was already jolted with the exclusion of Jasprit Bumrah before the ODI series. The duo of Umesh Yadav and Siddharth Kaul have lacked lustre in their bowling so far. With Bhuvneshwar Kumar likely to be back in the last ODI match, India’s chance to secure victory has just got bolder!
