Stokes and Ratcliffe got engaged to each other in 2013. The couple has two children- son Layton Andrew Arthur who was born in October 2012 and daughter Libby Sophia Mae who was born in February 2015. Stokes is one of the best all-rounders to ever play for England National Cricket Team. He had a crucial role in England’s journey to lift ICC Cricket World Cup 2019. He was the player of the match in the final match of World Cup 2019 between England and New Zealand, which England won over boundary counts.
Later in Ashes 2019 2nd Test, Stokes played an astonishing unbeaten knock of 135 runs to win the match for England. The match became a historic cricket event with England winning by just 1 wicket in the end. Stokes was credited as the hero of England’s victory.
