Australian cricketer Ben Cutting, on Thursday, was brutally injured over his nose while attempting to take a catch in a Big Bash League (BBL) 2018-19 match. To his horrors, the ball slipped through his hands and left his nose bloodied after failing to attempt the catch. It took five stitches for him to get him back on the field.
At the moment it seemed like the Brisbane Heats’ all-rounder had taken it cleanly, but neither the catch was taken, nor could he save himself from getting injured. The on-field umpires took help from the Third Umpire to make the final call, and it was decided that he had dropped the catch.
