While some called only Dravid as great, others urged to make the former Indian cricketer as Team India coach instead of Ravi Shastri. Ravi Shastri is the Team India head coach at present. Shastri, also a former cricketer of India, was reappointed for the post after India’s tour of West Indies 2019. However, he has been slammed by Indian cricket fans in the past for poorly handling the post. On the other hand, Rahul Dravid is the head of cricket at the National Cricket Academy (NCA). He is the former head coach of the India Under-19 and India A teams. He is also the overseas batting consultant for the Indian national cricket team at present.
Dravid is also a former Indian skipper and has scored more than 25,000 runs in international cricket. He is widely regarded as one of the best batsmen to play for India. Recently, Ravi Shastri was also trolled for sharing a photo during India’s tour of West Indies 2019. In the photo, the Team India head coach held a drink in his hands over which netizens took a dig at him.
