Dwayne Bravo showcased his skills once again as he took a stunning catch at mid-on to dismiss Melbourne Renegades opener Marcus Harris.
Dwayne Bravo is one genuine all-rounder every T20 franchise wants. Bravo is not only known for his batting and bowling skills but his ability in the field as well. His acrobatic nature in the field makes him a complete package, something franchises all over the world admire him for. The former Windies’ is currently participating in the ongoing Big Bash League 2018-19 in Australia. And is part of the Melbourne Stars team.
Bravo showcased his skills once again as he took a stunning catch at mid-on to dismiss Melbourne Renegades opener Marcus Harris. Bravo while going backward pulled off a one-handed catch as he timed his hum to perfection. Harris was dismissed for just 15 runs off Liam Plunkett. The early breakthrough helped Stars restrict Renegades to a paltry total of 121 runs. Bravo apart from taking a catch also managed to pick a wicket. Stars then chased down the target in lats over with fours balls and as many wickets to spare. Bravo scored unbeaten 17 off just nine balls to help his side cross the line.
The win was Stars’ fourth win of the season out of nine matches as they are currently placed fifth on BBL 2018-19 points table. Bravo has played in all nine matches for the Stars. The all-rounder retired from international cricket last year in October but decided to continue playing franchise T20 cricket across the world. After his fallout with the cricket board back home, Bravo was not picked for the national side. His last international appearance was in 2016 in a T20I match against Pakistan. Bravo played his last ODI against India in 2014.
