The opener, Zakir Hasan, could only manage to score 10 runs of 9 balls, but his partner Soumya Sarkar scored a quick 52 runs of just 32 deliveries. Sarkar’s knock included 6 fours and 2 sixes. He was assisted well by former captain Mushfiqur Rahim, who top scored for his team by scoring a fluent 66 runs of 44 balls and was unbeaten till the end of the innings.
