That's It! Stumps on day 2 and South Africa are significantly ahead in the game. They have posted a solid score on the board with three centuries from three batters, Wiaan Mulder being the latest. Proteas have also started blazing hot with the ball as they have dismissed four wickets of the hosts very cheaply. At this situation, South Africa will want to wrap up the Bangladesh innings soon and will not want to bat again in the match. 

OUT! Keshav Maharaj has his first wicket and it has come through a good ball! The delivery turned square after pitching around the middle and leg stump and completely deceives the right-hander, hitting his stumps. CENTURY for Wiaan Mulder! The all-rounder has struck his maiden Test hundred it has been a splendid knock altogether. With this, South Africa also have declared their innings at 577/6 and Bangladesh will have to counter the threat posed by the Proteas bowlers, and try to potentially stay undefeated towards the end of day's play. 

South Africa have been hit with a penalty of five runs because of Senuran Muthusamy running down the pitch. Because of this, Bangladesh will start their first innings at 5/0.

FIFTY for Senuran Muthusamy! The left-hander has struck some beautiful shots and has scored an impressive fifty, at a good rate as well. He would now look to play some big shots and wait for his captain to declare probably. 

It is tea on Day 2 and the South Africans have firmly established their grip on this contest. Wiaan Mulder and Senuran Muthusamy have stitched a 104-run partnership and South Africa's total has crossed 500. It remains to be seen when will they declare.

Senuran Muthusamy and Wiaan Mulder have built a steady partnership and South Africa are firmly in control once again. South Africa now are close to the 500-run mark and it will be interesting to when they declare their innings. 

OUT! Nahid Rana has struck and dismissed Ryan Rickelton! The young pacer has a wicket to his name after he found the under edge of the left-hander's bat with the wicketkeeper taking the catch. That's lunch on Day 2! It has been an interesting session of play with South Africa scoring 413/5. The day started with Tony de Zorzi and David Bedingham continuing with their partnership before Taijul Islam broke their stand and went on to clinch a five-wicket haul, his 14th in Test cricket. However, it was just his fifer that has been Bangladesh's highlight so far in this Tes with South Africa being in total control of this contest. 

FIVE WICKETS for Taijul Islam! The left-arm spinner is bringing back Bangladesh into this contest big time. Kyle Verreynne, who came out to bat minutes ago, was struck on his pad as he missed a straight delivery and the umpire had no hesitation in raising his finger. OUT! Taijul Islam has struck again and this time, he has dismissed the centurion Taijul Islam! The left-hander attempted a sweep but was struck right in front of the stumps. A DRS could not change the umpire's result with the big screen showing three reds as de Zorzi was dismissed for a well-made 177. Taijul Islam has his fourth wicket. OUT! Bangladesh finally have the breakthrough and it is Taijul Islam again, who has struck! The right-hander misjudged the length of the delivery as he attempted a slog and the ball crashed into the stumps. FIFTY for David Bedingham! He has continued South Africa's dominance in this contest with a half-century. The right-hander has displayed a good combination of patience as well as aggression and has further strengthened South Africa's position as they aim at a massive first innings total. 

150 for Tony de Zorzi! How well has he batted today and he continues to pile on the runs for South Africa and more misery for Bangladesh! It has been a superb show from the southpaw so far and will eye a double ton from here on as the Proteas continue to grow from strength to strength in this match. 

Tony de Zorzi and David Bedingham have been batting with a lot of confidence and control with no Bangladesh bowler seemingly troubling them on Day 2. The partnership between the two is worth 63 runs and they are showing no signs of stopping. Bangladesh under pressure and need a wicket badly.

South Africa will look to add another 100-150 runs if not more to this total while Bangladesh will eye some early wickets.
