The Asia Cup 2018, has had a few surprises in store for the 6 teams who participated in the mega-clash spread across Dubai and Abu Dhabi. Sri Lanka, placed in Group B has already been knocked out of the tournament and here comes the final clash of the Group stage. Today, Bangladesh and Afghanistan will lock horns to top the Group B table. The two teams have already made their way to the Super 4, thus the result won’t matter much. It’s a chance for both teams to set their combinations right ahead of the crucial ties. Also, the teams could be resting their key players before the Super 4s. Particular Bangladesh because they will play another match tomorrow against India in Dubai. The only worry for the players would be the soaring temperatures. As per Accuweather.com, the temperatures in Abu Dhabi could go up to 39 to 42-degree centigrade and could drain out the energy from the players’ on-field. With no sight of rain (of course!), the humidity is expected to be 18%. The temperatures are expected to go down a tad bit by a couple of degrees towards the evening. Talking about Bangladesh, the will play their next game tomorrow against India in Dubai. Talking about Group A, India leads the point table after defeating Hong Kong and Pakistan in the back-to-back matches. Pakistan is on number 2 after they defeated Hong Kong. The four teams in the Super 4 are India, Pakistan, Afghanistan and Bangladesh. The finals of the Asia Cup 2018 will be played on September 28, 2018.
