After making misogynist comments on Koffee With Karan 6, Hardik Pandya and KL Rahul were banned from the team and were even made to return to India after the duo missed out on the ODI series in Australia. Now, as per the latest report coming in, it is been reported that the ban has been lifted with immediate effect. This news could bring the sigh of relief to the duo as they can join the team subject to selection. Many cricketers including Rahul Dravid, Allan Border, Sourav Ganguly, Sanjay Manjrekar had offered their sympathy to Pandya and Rahul. Post the episode, the CoA had also mulled over behavioural counselling for both the cricketers. With both cricketers being suspended, Vijay Shankar had made way into the team in place of Hardik Pandya for the Australian series. Both KL and Hardik were lashed out at for their comments. Kara Johar the host of Koffee With Karan spoke about the episode for the first time and even went on to apologise for the same. “I have had so many sleepless nights just wondering about how I can undo this damage. Who's gonna listen to me now that it has gone beyond my control? I have to say and I don't defend myself, I have asked the women also those questions... Alia and Deepika were on the show, I've asked them those questions.”
