As Australia PM XI played against Sri Lanka today at the Manuka Oval, it was the Prime Ministers Scott Morrison who handled the duties of a water boy during the match as he ran to the team at Canberra. It was in 16th over when Sri Lanka lost six wickets, Morrison walked out for the pavilion carrying water for his team. Morrison while donning the responsibility of a water boy was seen wearing a white shirt, green tie and black trousers. Peter Siddle, Dan Christian to Lead Prime Minister's XI as Co-captains for First Time. 

The morale of the home team boasted immensely. The pictures of Morrison handling the duties of the water boy went viral on social media and were further shared by the fans pages. Talking about the game, the home team won the game by one wicket with one ball to spare. The game was quite a low scoring one as Sri Lanka won the toss and elected to bat first. The visitors put up 131 runs on the board with the loss of eight wickets. It was the Fawad Ahmed who led the team to victory as he scored nine runs from seven balls hitting one four and no maximums. Harry Nielsen who scored 79 runs from 50 balls scoring nine fours and one maximum. The match was no less than a nail-biting thriller as the result was decided on the last ball.
