It was the last game of the league stage of the ICC Cricket World Cup 2019. Australia locked horns with South Africa today at the Old Trafford in Manchester. It was quite a tug of a war between the two sides as the results kept swinging like a pendulum towards either of the sides. In the end, it was Kagiso Rabada who came to the team’s rescue snapping three wickets. As a result, Faf du Plessis and team won the game by a narrow margin of 10 runs. South Africa won the game with one ball to spare. With this Australia remains on number two of the ICC Cricket 2019 Points Table.  The team has already qualified for the semi-finals and will play against England on July 11, 2019, at the Edgbaston Cricket Ground in Birmingham.
