Australia vs South Africa marks the last match of the league stage of CWC 2019. Being hosted at Old Trafford in Manchester, both teams would look to end their league stage on a high note. Australia has already qualified for the semi-finals of ICC Cricket World Cup 2019, whereas South Africa had ended their campaign in the mega-event quite long ago. If Australia wins the match today, it is very likely that they would face New Zealand in the semi-finals. Australia vs South Africa Cricket Score 45th ODI Match.

Winning seven games out of eight, Australia is placed on number one of the CWC 2019 points table. Faf Du Plessis’ men have not had a very good time at the CWC 2019 as they stand on number eight with five points. The team had lost their important games against India, England and Pakistan which was the cause of the ouster from the mega-event. However, for Australia, the team is marred with injuries as Shaun Marsh has been ruled out of the World Cup due to an injury due to a fractured arm. Marsh was hit by Pat Cummins his teammate during the nets session. Glenn Maxwell is also doubtful for the game after being hit by Mitchell Starc during the same nets session.

Maxwell was rushed to the hospital for scans and is being monitored. Thus, the batsman looks doubtful for the game. The weather is expected to be cooler throughout the day. Early morning would have showers but the rest of the day will be dry and the fans can enjoy the full match.
