Australia have done England a massive favour by beating Scotland, which means that Jos Buttler and his team have made it through to the Super Eight. Scotland would be heartbroken, especially after that performance which kept them ahead for a good part of the game. Well not just today but Scotland had a pretty good T20 World Cup, especially their consistency against all the teams. But they would be left to rue their dropped catches tonight as they bow out of T20 World Cup 2024. They can be mighty proud of that effort though.Â

Australia have produce all round performance till now. David Warner, Marcus Stoinis, Adam Zampa, Josh Hazlewood, they have different heroes for them stepping up in different situations showing that they are ready for any challenge. A little concern remains over Travis Head who is yet to get some runs under his belt and the bowling unit facing a challenge when their batting fails entirely. Except for a little fine tuning needed, Australia look like a juggernaut and are very much on their way to secure the second title.
Scotland, meanwhile are a powerhouse. They have a strong batting lineup which can score fast against any bowling attack. Except the threat of wrist spin troubling them, Scotland boasts of incredible batting depth and quality. They have good bowling lineup as well Chris Sole, Brad Wheal and Mark Watt leading the attack. Brandon McMullen, George Munsey and Richie Berrington, all are in form and raring to go.
