Pakistan have beaten Australia by nine wickets! It is a massive win for Pakistan as they level the series 1-1 after losing the opener in Melbourne. This is also Mohammad Rizwan's first win as Pakistan's full-time white-ball captain. This victory was set up by the pacers, especially Haris Rauf who took his second ODI fifer and Shaheen Afridi, who scalped three. Naseem Shah and Mohammad Hasnain took one wicket each as Pakistan bowled Australia out for just 163 runs in 35 overs. In response, Pakistan's run chase was led by a sensational 137-run opening partnership between Saim Ayub and Abdullah Shafique. While Saim Ayub smashed his maiden ODI fifty and departed for a classy 82 off 71 balls, Abdullah Shafique struck an unbeaten 64 as Pakistan won the match with 141 balls to spare. The series is tied 1-1 and the action is beautifully set up for the finale which will be played at the Optus Stadium in Perth on November 10.
