Australia have beaten Pakistan by 29 runs! The match was shortened to seven-overs-per-side and it has provided a lot of entertainment with the hosts coming out on top in the end. What a wonderful performance from Australia as they take a 1-0 lead in this series! It never looked like that Pakistan were in the chase as they kept losing wickets at regular intervals and never seemed to gain any sort of momentum with bat in hand. Glenn Maxwell is one of the protagonists of this win, scoring 43 runs off 19 balls as Australia made 93 runs in seven overs. Xavier Bartlett and Nathan Ellis then scalped three wickets each in the second innings to help Australia come out on top.
