That's It! What a fantastic win from Australia. Statement victory from the AUS-W and they have showed why they are the favourites of the competition. From opting to bat first, they have always controlled the game and were ahead and their bowlers showed how to bowl under these conditions. Australia Women now have one leg in the semifinal. 

Out! New Zealand are coming down like a pack of cards down. They have completely lost it and Australian bowlers are just finding ways to hit their stumps. Annabel Sutherland took her third wicket by dismissing Rosemary Mair. While the stranded Sophie Devine finally gets cleaned up by Sophie Molineux. Devine b Molineux 7(15) and Mair b Sutherland 2(2).

Out! New Zealand are down on their knees now. Annabel Sutherland comes into the attack and uses the skiddy nature of the pitch by keeping the line wicket to wicket. First Maddy Green gets bowled and in the next delivery Isabella Gaze gets trapped infront of the wicket. Out! New Zealand are losing the plot now. The run rate has not moved an inch since the 10th over and the pressure has caused Brooke Halliday to go for an expansive reverse sweep. Out! At the halfway mark of the chase, Suzie Bates and Amelia Kerr were keeping New Zealand alive in the chase, but Bates never really got comfortable in the crease. Tries to charge down the track to Sophie Molineux but the shrewd Aussie anticipated it and dropped it short. It kept low and crashed on the stumps of Bates. Bates b Molineux 20(27).

After the early first wicket, Amelia Kerr has steadied things up with Suzie Bates at the other end and ticked the scoreboard. Although boundaries have been rare and the duo will have to score some boundaries to stay in the chase. 

Out! Megan Schutt strikes. Uses the slowness of the pitch and Georgia Plimmer does the mistake of playing the ball across on length. It keeps low and comes slower than it should have. Plimmer misses it and the ball crashes on the stumps. Plimmer b Schutt 4(7).

Annabel Sutherlands lost her wicket in the last over but Sophie Molineux and Tahlia McGrath did enough to make the last over good for Australia and took them to a solid total considering the conditions of Sharjah. Beth Mooney laid the foundation while Alyssa Healy and Ellyse Perry scored the boundaries. New Zealand will have to play out of their skin to chase down the target.
