Earlier, Australia opener David Warner hit his 15th one-day international hundred in match 17 of the ICC Cricket World Cup 2019 in Taunton County Ground in Somerset. Warner brought up his hundred in 102 balls with the help of 11 fours and one six during the Australia vs Pakistan match ongoing in Taunton.
Australia were going all guns blazing but Mohammad Amir's five wicket hall and economical spell helped Pakistan to stop Australia at 307. Coming out to chase 308, Pakistan failed to stitch a partnership long enough to change the momentum of the game. Australia picked wickets at regular intervals and Pakistan lost to Australia by 41 runs. Pat Cummins took three wickets and Mitchell Stark claimed two wickets to help Australia bowl out Pakistan for 266.
