The much-awaited Asia Cup 2023 is all set to get underway on August 30. Pakistan and Sri Lanka are the co-hosts of the marquee tournament. The 16th edition of the Asia Cup will be played in an ODI format. The inaugural game of the high-profile competition will witness the Men in Green take the stage alongside Nepal in Multan. The six participating teams of Asia Cup 2023 are divided into two groups of three each. Group A comprises India, Pakistan and Nepal while Sri Lanka, Bangladesh and Afghanistan form Group B. Sri Lanka will walk into the tournament as the defending champions and it will be a daunting task for the Lankan Lions to defend their crown.
