India’s all-around performance at the Asia Cup 2018, helped the team crush Pakistan by 8 wickets at the Dubai International Stadium. After winning the toss, Pakistan asked India to the field. However, their innings got wrapped up on 164 runs. Shoaib Malik and Babar Azam were the only ones who made the highest scores by making 43 and 47 respectively. None of the batsmen from Pakistan could score above 21 runs and as a result, they got out on a paltry score of 162 runs. On the other hand, Rohit Sharma and Shikhar Dhawan gave a great start to India by giving an 86 run partnership stand. Ambati Rayudu and Dinesh Karthik remained not out and led team India register an emphatic victory of 8 wickets. Needless to say, this performance called for a celebration. India beats Pakistan by 8 wickets. 

The Indian team after returning from the ground cut a cake. Bhuvneshwar Kumar who snapped three wickets was seen cutting the cake with a sword. The video was shared on Kedar Jadhav’s Instagram story which then went viral. Check out the clip below:

India now tops the Group A point table, with 4 points in their kitty. Pakistan stands on number 2 and Hong Kong on 3. Whereas in Group B, Bangladesh features on number one, Afghanistan on two and Sri Lanka on 3. After the match, Rohit Sharma had special praises for Kedar Jadhav and said, “He (Jadhav) has been working on his bowling, takes his bowling very seriously.
