The 14th edition of Asia Cup takes place from September 15 to 28. The 2018 Asia Cup was initially scheduled to be held in India, but due to the political tensions between India and Pakistan, the tournament was shifted out of the country to the United Arab Emirates (UAE). The Dubai International Cricket Stadium in Dubai and Sheikh Zayed Stadium in Abu Dhabi will host the matches. Interestingly, India have never played an ODI at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium. While in Abu Dhabi, Men in Blue have played a couple of matches.

Historic Sharjah Cricket Ground has hosted India’s majority of matches in the UAE. However, no Asia Cup 2018 match will be played at the venue. But the conditions in Dubai and Abu Dhabi will be very similar to Sharjah. 5 Key Players For India at Asia Cup 2018: MS Dhoni, Bhuvneshwar Kumar Among Top Players To Watch Out For In India's Quest for Asian Supremacy!
