Tendulkar junior who could not create too much of a buzz in Sri Lanka, got a five-wicket haul. His fiery spells helped Mumbai beat Gujarat quite comprehensively in the Vindoo Mankad Trophy 2018, which began on October 2 and will go on until November 4, 2018. Tendulkar junior’s spells sent Vardhman Dattesh Shah (0), Priyesh (1), LM Kocher (8), Jaymeet Patel (26) and Dhruvang Patel (6) to the pavilion. Gujarat lost their first wicket on the second delivery itself. AT one point in time Gujarat was three wickets down for 16. Bowling 8.2 overs, Arjun also bowled a maiden and Gujarat was reduced to a paltry score of 142 runs. One the other hand, it was quite easy for Mumbai to get the total in just 38 overs with the loss of one wicket. The openers of Mumbai Suven Parkar and Divyaanch gave a great start to the team stitching a partnership of 108 runs. Suven scored 67 runs and remained not out. Whereas, Divyaanch got out by SM Prajapati in the 32nd over before bringing up his half-century on the score of 45 runs.

Pragnesh Kanpillewar and Parkar guided Mumbai to victory with 9 wickets in their kitty. Mumbai will now take on Bengal in the next round of the Vinoo Mankad Trophy 2018. The match will be played in Madhya Pradesh on Tuesday.
