The official body of cricket was trolled by the netizens for the caption, “#TeamIndia members at the High Commission of India in London.” Many netizens even said that she would be part of the playing XI against England at the Lord’s on August 9. The fans even went on to say that the BCCI should have named her separately and not under Team India.
Ahead of the second Test match, Virat addressed the press and said, “That as I team we are just that. It’s not that we are getting rolled over or dominated. Any test match you play is competitive and people overlook that fact very easily. But when the result comes out, they will realise that this team is very competitive.”
