As per the reports on the Internet, a few unidentified Afghani players got into an altercation with an individual who took videos of the players without their permission at Akhbar’s restaurant in Manchester. The incident happened on Monday and The police were called to sort the scene. The police officials even released a statement and said that there were no arrests made after an altercation at premises on Liverpool Road in Manchester. Now ahead of the CWC 2019 match against India, Afghanistan skipper Gulbadin Naib was addressing the press and was asked about this incident. ENG beat AFG by 150 runs.
This definitely fumed the Afghani skipper and answered a few questions but then was quite angry. In a very snappy tone, Naib asked the media to speak to the security officers as he wasn’t aware of the incident. On the field, Afghanistan suffered from a massive defeat against England as they lost the game by 150 runs at the Old Trafford. Rashid Khan went on to be the most expensive bowler not only during the match but also in the history of the World Cup as he leaked 110 runs from nine overs.
