Pakistani fans were quite excited as the country witnessed the return of International cricket after ten long years with Sri Lanka touring them for three-game ODI and an equal number of T20I series. The ODI series was won by the ODI series by 2-0. But the T20I series were whitewashed by the visitors and the team suffered from a humiliating defeat. Questions were raised on captain Sarfaraz Ahmed who could not make much of an impact in the T20I series. Ahmed could only make 67 runs in three games. Being the number one side in the T20Is, the fans expected the team to win the T20I series too and particularly because the Sri Lankan team were not even travelling with their main squad. But contrary to their expectations the team lost 3-0. The fans had expected a comeback in the last game of the series but that too didn't happen. The fans couldn’t digest their team’s defeat. Post their defeat, an angry fan was seen smashing Sarfaraz Ahmed’s hoarding. The fan was seen kicking the poster and the video of the same went viral on social media. Check it out below:

The first match of the T20I series was won by 64 runs, the second game as won by 35. Sri Lanka registered a 13 run win in the last game at the Gaddafi Stadium, Lahore.
